With over 17 years of progressive leadership in oncology nursing, Dr. Lindsey Zinck currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer of the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She holds a PhD in Nursing with a research focus on care delivery models, blending deep clinical insight with operational expertise and a passion for healthcare innovation and technology.
Dr. Zinck has led numerous transformative initiatives at Penn Medicine aimed at improving patient outcomes, provider experience, and system efficiency. Notably, she spearheaded the launch of a seven-day ambulatory infusion model to reduce emergency department utilization and preserve inpatient capacity. She also co-led one of the nation’s first implementations of “Cancer Care @ Home,” a program that delivers anticancer therapy in patients’ homes—enhancing patient satisfaction and optimizing both inpatient and outpatient operations.
Her expertise spans designing, piloting, and scaling complex care innovations through cross-functional collaboration, data-driven improvement, and stakeholder engagement. She serves as a trusted advisor to digital health companies and innovation teams, including roles as Cancer Program Advisor for Luminate Medical and Leap Health, as well as Nurse Advisory Board member for LeanTaaS, where she helps shape user-centered products and implementation strategies.
In addition to her executive leadership, Dr. Zinck holds faculty appointments at Penn’s School of Nursing and the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation, where she educates emerging leaders at the intersection of care delivery and digital transformation. Her work is grounded in a rigorous, patient-centered approach that unites clinical excellence with scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
